Combination of materials

Lately I tested a combination of materials in my course of work,namely wood stain
and traditional shellac as an immediate coat.It came out just fine, as specified.

In fact it can be tweaked to various degree of opacity,as in using the
equalising stain (a stain used to provide a more uniform colour throughout.)

colour adjustment

Sometimes you do get the final shade of colour way off the specifications.
Then some form of colour adjustment is required.

Points to consider beforehand will be:
1) Clarity of wood grain
2) Is the shade too dark
3)Methods of application

The final finishing will be determined by the above.
